This peated spirit was distilled at Glenturret, one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries. After maturation in an old Sherry butt, the liquid was finished in a French red wine cask to bring a complexity of flavour incorporating subtle smoke, sherry and delicate fruity notes.

 The medicinal and oily smoke comes in waves on the nose and marries with the sweet and full bodied cherry jam flavours on the palate. The finish is sustained with lingering charred oak and dry spices.  

At 59.8% ABV it epitomises the exceptional quality that derives from a distillery with the weight of history behind it. Limited to only 337 bottles it is both a drinkers and collectors dream.
